And They're OFF!

Good morning! Jill was so busy yesterday getting everything ready to leave that she was not able to type up the travel details for today, so she asked me to do it for her.

Their flight left the Indianapolis International Airport this morning at 6:15 a.m., and they arrived safely in Newark, NJ at approximately 8:09 a.m. As they were checking in this morning in Indianapolis, they met another couple who would be making the flights with them to China as well. They are from Avon and are adopting a 3 1/2 year old little girl. Once they arrived in Newark, they enjoyed breakfast together with this couple, and are now just hanging out at the airport until their flight leaves for Beijing, China at 12:10 p.m. It is a 13 hour flight. They will be arriving in Beijing at 1:50 P.M., July 29th BEIJING time. This will actually be 1:50 A.M., July 29th INDIANA time.

Please be in prayer for travel safety for Jill and Scott today. Also, I know that they would welcome and appreciate prayers for Benjamin, Luke, and Hannah as well. As I'm sure you can imagine, it was a very difficult "see you later" last night. Although at this time, this little family is now in three very separate places with the kids being here at home, Jill and Scott in route to China, and Little Miss Mary being cared for in the orphanage in the Jiangxi Province, we know that our God is able to protect them and bring all of them back together!

Psalm 121

1 "I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore."

Thanking Him for His Promises,

We are praying! I have always said, if I knew how great adoption was, I would have added more kids that way and less the other way!! Try to enjoy your trip,even though it must be stressful!
